Cloud Climbers Unit C8 Newsletter

My newsletter to my team this campaign. If you would like to be on my team, click on the "Become an Avon Representative" tab above.

Greetings fellow Cloud Climbers!

How is everyone doing today? Very well I hope! Yesterday it felt like summer had suddenly descended upon us with heat and humidity, but I think we might be back to spring now. I see that more April showers are on the way for tomorrow.

I want to welcome Jessica Roman to our team. Jessica was signed by Susanne Walters. Jessica is Susanne's first recruit in her second attempt to build an Avon unit, and this time we do not intend to let her fail! We will be working a booth together on April 18th in Athens at Eli's Block Party-Car Show and we will have another booth together the next Saturday in Madison at Spring Fling 2015 by The Big Tease Hair Salon on Hughes Road. I'm attaching fliers for booth events in case you are interested in coming. You can also find both events on Facebook. Any recruits we get from those events will be added to Susanne's team. If you are ever interested in building a team, I will be glad to work with you as well. Please come to one of these events and hang out with us for awhile!

We have two people celebrating a birthday this month, and both are on April 12th! A big HAPPY BIRTHDAY goes out to Teresa Jordan and Deborah Williams. I hope both of you ladies are treated extra special by the ones who should treat you so.

Two of us are celebrating Avon Anniversaries this month. Gladys Faulk celebrated 25 years with Avon on April 4th and I celebrated 28 years on April 7. Congratulations to both of us old timers!!

I hope that all of you have promoted the free Avon signups by now. If not, why not?!? All you have to do is let people know about the opportunity so they can make an informed decision. If you would like for me to post the notice on your Facebook wall, I'll be happy to do that for you. If you would like me to send you an email with the info so you can just forward it to whomever you please, just say the word and its done. You have the possibility of building a steady income through Avon Leadership. If you are worried that you won't be able to help someone who signs under you build their business, I can handle doing that as well. We only have a few more days for this, since appointments must be done before April 15, so let me hear from you soon!!

I keep the Coupon Codes page on my blog at updated with current codes customers can use for direct delivery orders from our websites. Here are the ones that are working right now, so please share them with your customers who order in that way:

WELCOME for 20% off of a $50 order - good anytime, but only on your first order.

THANKYOU for 20% off of a $50 order - good anytime, but can only be used once.

SITESALE for 15% off of a $60 or more order, good until midnight April 9, 2015.

AVONFB20 for 20% off an order of $50 or more - limited time offer, so just give it a try to see if it works. (I tried it on April 7 and it worked.)

AVONFB75 for 20% off an order of $75 or more - limited time offer, so just give it a try to see if it works. (I tried it on April 7 and it worked.)

I hope some of you will be able to listen to the Business Buzz that was recorded yesterday. I know many of you work at the scheduled times for a lot of the calls and webinars, but the Business Buzz is recorded for later viewing/listening at Avon University and so perhaps you can listen to it at your convenience. If you need help in accessing these, let me know. I had to click around a bit to locate the BB, but I found it. I see that the BB for C9 is accessible through a link on our YA home page, so I'm sure the C10 one from yesterday will be there soon. There will only be one more Business Buzz and then we move to a new form of communication - Web TV. It will be interesting to see how that works.I apologize if parts of this newsletter come through in different fonts. Cutting and pasting can cause some messy looking results sometimes, even when you try to fix it to all look the same. And sometimes there might be a fix if you spend a lot of time trying to find it but you decide there are more important things in life. :)

That's it for now. Let me know if you need me, because I am here to help you. I can't be a successful Unit Leader unless you are successful representatives. Speaking of which, it won't be long until I won't be a Unit Leader any longer, because Avon is changing our terminology as well as our Leadership plan. Starting in C17 I'll be a Gold Ambassador because our unit routinely has over $4,000 in total sales per campaign. Once we get Susanne (or anyone else who wants to work to build a team) to Silver Ambassador (meaning her team has at least $2,000 in sales per campaign), I'll then become a Leader. Whew! What a learning curve this is going to be from what I'm used to. It's supposed to be simpler in the long term, but the change over will require some study. Times change, and so must we, so onward we go.

I hope to see some of you soon, at one of the upcoming events. You should particularly plan to come to Eli's Block Party, because there will be lots of fun for the kids. Eli won't be able to be there, because this week he has entered a trial for a totally new treatment for his type of brain cancer at M. D. Anderson in Houston. He is the first one to receive this treatment, and it requires him to be there for several months, but the block party will go on as scheduled and he will participate from afar as much as he can.
