Go Matte!

The newest wearable trend is a matte look in makeup. C4 Cloud Climbers Unit Newsletter

This is the newsletter for I write for my downline each campaign. You may read it to see how we are doing. :)


How nice it is to have a sunny day! I'm just waiting for the temperature to rise a little more before I head out to take advantage of it to do some customer searching in a nearby neighborhood. I prefer to go without a jacket, so I need it to be a few degrees warmer. It looks like 1:00 is going to be my target goal. :) That will give me time to get this newsletter done and my invoices for C5 printed and ready for the order when it arrives tomorrow.

I'm pushing for $1,000 orders each campaign during the time frame for entries into the sweepstakes to win the Mercedes, since that is the requirement for someone in Rose Circle. My C5 order fell a little short of that goal, but I see that I already have $269 in credit for eCustomer orders at my eStore, so that will carry me over the goal. Have you checked to see what you need to do to get entries into the sweepstakes? We all have different goals, and we can all earn entries, so make sure you know what you need to do! In addition to the Mercedes, there is the opportunity to win one of these great prizes: 


Do you promote your eStore? Do you have the link to it on every brochure you give out? Do you have it in your signature at the bottom of your emails? Do you post it on your social media sites at least once every campaign? You never know who might be wanting to order Avon and prefer to order for direct shipment, and Avon has a lot of offers that are for eCustomers only. How often do you order what you need online? I much prefer online ordering to going to a physical store and I know many other people do to. Plus, there are places where people don't have good representatives giving them personalized service the way you service your customers and they need Avon products too. Make sure everyone you know knows your eStore link. I want to see more people reported as having Direct Delivery orders than just the one or two that I see each campaign, because I want you earning more money. There are 40+ Cloud Climbers and the only two with eStore orders in C4 were myself and Susanne Walters. Don't forget about the extra offers Avon has for you to earn with eStore orders, like the free Anew Clinical Line Eraser with Retinol you will get with $100 in DD orders from February 13-20. I earned the last item (Daydreams) and I plan to earn this one too, so I've got a little more promoting of my eStore to do myself!! When you earn items like these you can use them yourself, use them as samplers, sell them at full price, offer them at a discount to good customers, give as gifts to your helpers, etc. You have no money invested in them, so think about ways you can use them to further your business.

I'm happy to see a couple of my Climbers on the District Leadership Recognition Boards this campaign. Rene Parker is #4 in Sales Increase for Top PC Reps and Ruby Nunnery is #4 in Sales in Top Non-PC Reps.

We added two new potential Cloud Climbers this campaign. Avon does not count them as "official" reps. until they turn in a first order and pay for it, but I have no doubt that these two will be official soon. Welcome to Avon and to the Cloud Climbers, Franchesca Perez and Michelle Watkins! (Michelle is actually a former Cloud Climber who is restarting her business and I'm glad to have her back.)
Out of 40 active representatives in C4, only 25 had orders. That's better than 50%, but I'd sure like to see it be at least 85%. Of course, it is great that you can make this business whatever you want it to be and if you only want to turn in an order every third campaign you can do that, but remember that you might lose customers to other reps. who turn in orders regularly if you don't. Most customers don't want to have to wait 6 weeks for what they order to be delivered, and this business is all about making the customer happy. Also, if you aren't turning in an order, don't forget to make your payment for the previous order before a late fee is added. The first late fee is now $10, rather than the $5 fee we had for a long time.

I received notice yesterday that the President's Club Tribute will be Tuesday, May 3, 11:00 a.m., at the Marriott at Tranquility Base. I hope that Rene Parker will be able to make it to the event to celebrate with me. Sometimes Honor Society members and above are given the privilege of bringing a guest and I'm curious to know if any of you would be interested in being my guest if that opportunity arises? Let me know and I'll see what I can do about it. If more than one is interested, I'll decide how to choose. The lunch is always wonderful and you could see how nicely Avon rewards those who work hard to build their businesses.

C5 Customer Reminder - Downline Version

Every campaign I send a reminder to my customers that I am about to turn in an Avon order. Since my regular orders are turned in on a Tuesday night, I try to get my reminder to my customers no later than Sunday. Before I send it to my customers, I send a copy to my Cloud Climbers team so that they can tweak, cut and paste, etc., to create a reminder for their customers. I like to do this because many of my team members work full time and this saves them a bit of time as well as reminds them to contact their customers before the order is due.

Here is my reminder for Campaign 5, just as I sent it to my team:

Good day to you! I was out of town for the first half of the week and I'm playing catch up now. Between having a cold that sends me to blow my nose every few minutes (which also requires washing of hands), and having three cats wanting in and out of the house every few minutes, playing catch up is not easy. I am determined to get this reminder out before noon, so we shall see how that goes.

Hello from Henderson

Let me tell you that I am just about worn out, as in my body is physically tired. It is one of my traditions to come to Henderson, Tennessee, every year for the first full week of February to attend and work in the FHU Bible Lectureship. Freed-Hardeman University is a school that is dear to my heart for many reasons, including the fact that it is the alma mater of both myself and my daughter. My daughter was blessed to attend on a full scholarship and now we both work with the FHU Associates, a group of ladies who love Freed as much as we do, to raise scholarship funds so that other students might attend. 

The annual Bible lectureship is also near and dear to my heart for many reasons, including the fact that it is what the name says, a BIBLE lectureship. Getting to combine my work for the Associates with attending lectures, being updated on the work of the Lord being done around the world, picking up a few good books to read, renewing old friendships, and making new friends makes this week one of the best weeks of my year...but it is tiring! 

Meanwhile, because my Avon eStore ( remains open, business can go on while I am away. What a blessing the Internet is during weeks like this one. And now I've got to get out of this dorm room and get back to enjoying the Lectureship.

Can Spring be far Behind?

As recorded in Genesis 8:22 when He spoke to Noah after the flood, God promised: "While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease." There's comfort in knowing that no matter had cold and blustery the winter, spring is not far behind.

C4 Avon Cloud Climbers Team Newsletter

This is my newsletter for my Cloud Climbers Team. I write one every campaign to stay in touch with them.

I'm getting more and more excited about the great things that are happening this spring with Avon. I imagine by now you have seen the car that we all have a chance of winning, and have read about what you need to do to get your entries in. We've had cars won in our area in the past, and we can do it again!! If I get it, I'm selling it and buying a metallic red SUV to do my deliveries in. There's also good news about EZ returns coming in March, and you can read about it early on the Cloud Climbers Avon Unit FB page. (Here's a hint: Avon will be saving you some money every month.)

Sales are improving as we move toward Valentine's Day, as I knew they would. I'm happy to once again be able to have 10 people on this list, all with sales over $100. The top 8 had sales over $150, with Rene Parker leading with sales of over $450!!

Congratulations for sticking with your Avon businesses through the sunny and cloudy days! I'm glad you are on my team and hope you stay for many more years. 

Birthdays are always pretty special, and we have a few of those in February as well:  Angie Price on 2/13, Rene Parker on 2/16, Benetta Staten on 2/24, Annie Watts on 2/25, and Magalis Justiniano on 2/26. Hmmm, I wonder which one is the senior partner? I know all of these except Annie, whom I've never met, so I can't say for sure.

We have no new team members to report this campaign, but I'm expecting one to sign online at my Start Avon link today. You do know that you have a "Start Avon" link, don't you? Try typing in the part of your eStore URL that comes after the slash (for me it is smoore) and then type and see what comes up. You can also type it with and see that site. The first one goes directly to the signing page while the second one lets them look at the details and then move to the signing page. Those links take Potential Recruits to the sites, but they are pre-filled with your links so that the PRs would be signing directly with you. If they go to you have to give them your code, (which is that same thing after the / in your URL) to make sure they are signed under you. 

Speaking of your URL, did you see that you can earn a free bottle of the newest fragrance for women, Daydream, by having $100 in orders at your eStore this week? The offer is good from yesterday through Weds. and I expect to get mine because I have a new customer who ordered $70 worth of product yesterday, so I only need one more $30 order and I'm promoting the free gifts with purchase and the free shipping offers this week. I don't know who she is, but I'm guessing I left an Avon book at her house when I was doing a customer search recently.
