Running to Shop? Or Using Shoprunner?

I've been hearing a little bit about Shoprunner lately and, since that option can now be used at our Avon eStores, I decided I needed to see what the service was all about. I visited their website and took a look at the FAQs to see what I could see. Their answer to "What is ShopRunner?" is "ShopRunner is the best way to shop for the stuff you love. Our members enjoy benefits like unlimited free 2-day shipping, free return shipping, member only deals, and much more."

Under the heading of " Which ShopRunner stores require a minimum purchase amount to receive free 2-day shopping and free return shipping?" I saw this about Avon: "$25 minimum purchase amount. This means that you must spend at least $25 on ShopRunner eligible items in order to receive free 2-day shipping." Later in the FAQs I saw that almost all products on sites that use ShopRunner are ShopRunner eligible

An annual ShopRunner membership costs $79*, so I would suggest that shopping my eStore with ShopRunner is for customers who make a lot of internet purchases from other companies during a year and purchase ShopRunner for those, since Avon has free shipping on any order over $40 and often has coupon codes for free shipping on orders of $25 without the use of ShopRunner. As Avon also has a very liberal return policy and I would not expect customers ordering for direct delivery from my eStore to have to do many returns, I really don't think the free returns part of ShopRunner is worth the purchase price unless, as stated earlier, you do a lot of shopping from other internet sites. However, if you have an American Express Card** you might want to consider it, because those carrying American Express Cards can get ShopRunner free, as this clip from the FAQs explains:

American Express® Card Members can get free membership! What’s the catch?

There is no catch. To get your complimentary ShopRunner membership courtesy of American Express®, go to www.shoprunner.com/americanexpress and enroll an eligible American Express® Card. You never have to pay the $79 fee and you get to enjoy free 2-day shipping on thousands of brands.

More and more people are choosing to shop from the comfort of their homes, which is the reason that options like ShopRunner are now available for them. Many Avon representatives are working to build businesses that mostly serve online customers. Building that type of business can take a good bit of time and effort, and I recommend that Avon Representatives also sell to those in their local area to truly be successful, but if you have friends/family/acquaintances around the country, I definitely recommend getting your Avon eStore up and running as soon as you decide to get started with your own Avon business so that they can shop there - with or without ShopRunner.

*There is a 30 free trial offer.

**At this time American Express is the only card offering this option.

What is a Serum?

The word "serum" means different things depending on whether you are talking about medicine or skin care. Since I don't talk about medicine on this blog, we shall discuss the word serum as it relates to skin care. So, what is a serum and why would you need one? A facial serum can give your skin moisture, but it is not just a moisturizer. It is a nutrient rich liquid or liqui-gel that has smaller molecules than a moisturizer, thereby allowing it to get nutrients deep into underlying layers of your skin that cannot be reached by a regular moisturizer.

Some customers will find that a facial serum will give their skin enough moisture and they do not need an added moisturizer, while others will like using both. If you are using a serum, you apply it after cleansing your face and before applying moisturizer. If you want to use both a serum and moisturizer but do not want a heavy application and are concerned about using it under makeup, try using the serum at night. You might even alternate nights - using the serum one night and your moisturizer the next.

Here is a chart created by a fellow Avon Rep. showing the serums and other treatment products that Avon offers and their benefits. (Treatments are also used after cleansing and before moisturizing.) You can find all these products in my eStore.

www.youravon.com/smoore

Do you like what you see here? Do you think your friends/coworkers/acquaintances would like these products as well? Would you like to get these products at a discount while making extra income? Talk to me about becoming an Avon Representative and receiving top quality training on skin care so that you can recommend these products to your own customers! Training is done online at your own pace and in your own home, and it's a free benefit for all Avon representatives who chose to take advantage of it.

Taxes!

Taxes. Don't you just hate doing them? Or do you take yours to someone else to do? My mama taught me to do my own taxes from the time I first started making money and I've been doing them for my family ever since. I'm certainly thankful for tax programs like the one I use from H&R Block, because they make everything so much easier and assure that I don't have mistakes - or at least that there are less chances of any! So far we have been audit free, so I'll keep trusting in my software to get the job done. Speaking of which, time is getting short to get mine completed, so if I have a few less blog posts over the next three weeks, you can attribute it to the fact that I am hard at work on my taxes.

You may be wondering how an Avon business works with your taxes. Avon is responsible for reporting to the IRS when a "Payer made direct sales of $5,000 or more of consumer products to a buyer (recipient) for resale." That statement means that the representative has purchased at least that much in product value from Avon during the year, so Avon reports to the IRS based on the assumption that those purchases were resales to customers. Avon does not know how much the representative has made from those purchases, because they do not know what was for personal use or if the representative did special offers to customers, etc. It is up to the representative to keep records of their income and expenses and use a Schedule C to report business income. Avon also sends a Form 1099-MISC to representatives in Leadership who have earnings from their downline team sales.

Yes, finding time to do our taxes with a busy schedule can be frustrating, but we should all be thankful to be having to do the work, because it means we are making money. After all, no taxes means no money!! If you are ready to have a reason to fill out a Schedule C next year, contact me for more details on starting your own Avon business or just go here and start yourself today.

Best Buys of Campaign 8!

(Every campaign I send a notice of some of the best buys of the campaign to my team that they can tweak and email to their customers as a reminder that the order will soon be due. Then I adjust the reminder to fit my customers, add the date the order is due, and send it a couple of days before the deadline. I also like to post it here and on my eStore blog.)

What's New in Campaign 8?

If you have not looked at an Avon brochure in awhile or if you do not see them regularly, you may not be aware of the fact that Avon introduces new items every two week period, which we call a "campaign." And I don't mean just one or two items, either! Quite often there will be new items in almost every category - clothing, jewelry, skin care, makeup, bath & body, home, and gifts for both adults and children. And then when the Christmas season rolls around....Wow!

So, what's new for the campaign we are currently in, which is Campaign 8? Take a look at a few of the items:
  • Lace-It-Up Fashion Sandal. Leatherlike with trendy and functional laces on front and a back zipper for easy on/off. The aqua color of this shoe goes great with our...

  • Spring Sensation Dress. Center back zip on a polyester/spandex dress in a fresh floral print that you can machine wash and dry. It has bell sleeves, a fitted bodice and a flared midi skirt with handkerchief hem in the front.

  • Perhaps you prefer a more casual shoe like the Mixed Media Chunky Heel Sandal. You can put a spring in your step with these neutral tone leatherlike sandals with adjustable closure and chunky 2 1/4" H. heel.

  • And how about this Classic Organization Crossbody Bag? This sleek, leatherlike crossbody has easy-access credit card slots in the front and an outer slip pocket on the back.

  • Make a fun, carefree statement with spring-themed jewelry in our Golden-Eagle Collection. Turn over a new leaf with these nature-inspired looks set in goldtone, like this Necklace and Earring Set.

  • Our Watch Me-Shine Watch has a sparkling dial that will make you stand out from the crowd. There's a leatherlike adjustable strap and it is available in 4 spring shades: melon, white, lavender, and mint.

Since this campaign introduces the Avon Signature Collection in clothing, most of the new products fall into the clothing category. In addition to the ones listed above there are new tops, new slacks, new shoes, and new camis. Check them all out at my eStore. If this is your first order, use the code WELCOME at checkout to receive 20% off of your $50 order.

Spring Rally!!

Avon events are always a lot of fun for many reasons. Yesterday was our Spring Rally with Avon, and it was a great one! The best part was getting to be together with our District Sales Manager and fellow representatives - those we haven't seen in awhile, newer ones who were attending their first Avon gathering, and at least one who became a representative after the meeting was over. I helped our DSM with set up and break down, and was so involved with it all that I forgot to take pictures! :/ That's hard for even me to believe, because I usually take lots of pictures at these events. Fortunately, there were others who did take pictures, so I do have just a few to share.

After setting up for the event, we gathered at our usual large table in the Grille at the Sheraton to eat a delicious supper and talk about our businesses and the event about to take place. Our DSM, Shana Fuller, is on the left and I am on the right.
Shana is wearing one of our newest dresses and Avon jewelry. (I am wearing Avon shoes, unseen of course, Avon jewelry, and an Avon watch.) Shana and I happened to be in the ladies restroom after our meal when a traveler came in and was admiring Shana's jewelry. Naturally, Shana let her know that the jewelry and dress she was wearing were from Avon and I showed her my Avon shoes. I gave the traveler, who was heading home to Texas, a brochure and let her know about my eStore link on the back. She said she had arrived at the airport early and could do some shopping through the brochure while waiting for her flight. I'm hoping to see an eStore order come through from Texas soon! Perhaps she will even be interested in the Avon opportunity and decide to join the ranks of Avon and become a part of my Cloud Climbers Avon team. You just never know what good may come when you share an Avon book.

Of course, the rally is all about learning what is coming up with Avon, what the company is doing to help the representatives, and how we can build our businesses to become what we want them to be. Here is Shana working hard during the presentation.

At the close of the meeting we toasted to the future of Avon and our own businesses with a delicious fruit punch made by one of the workers at the restaurant where the meeting was held and enjoyed a piece of 130th Anniversary cake. All in all, it was an evening well spent. Our next event will be the President's Club Tribute in May, which is the highlight of our Avon year. I'll be sure to remember to take pictures then!

How to Get the Price You Want for the Product You Want

If you have ever ordered Avon's core products regularly, you have probably figured out how to not pay full price for any products you ordered. It's actually quite easy to do, since the core Avon products (skin care, makeup, bath & body, hair care, and fragrance) are generally on sale at least once in every three campaigns - therefore on sale every six weeks. But here is something you may not realize. You can combine items from three campaigns to get the prices you want on the products you want all at the same time. When ordering for representative delivery, just tell your representative (meaning me, I hope!) to "back order" the items and tell her which campaign they were on sale in. Now, allow me to explain how to do it if you are ordering at an eStore (meaning mine, I hope!) for direct delivery from Avon.

Go to the eStore link and you will see the homepage as in this first picture.

www.youravon.com/smoore

At the bottom of the page you will see three options, which I have highlighted in the picture. Click on the last one (circled in red) and then you will see a page like this second picture.

On that page, click the arrow next to the number (I have an arrow pointed at it), and drop down to the campaign you want of the two previous ones, which I have highlighted. Then enter your product number and quantity and add it to your cart. If you do not know the product number, you can use the search bar in the top right corner to find the product and get the number, or you can get it from the online brochure or your hard copy of the brochure if you have one. In this way you can combine items from three campaigns into one order, getting the best price for each!

C6 Cloud Climbers Newsletter

(This is the newsletter that I write for my downline team members each campaign to keep them informed and encouraged.)

 Well folks,

I have finally gotten started working on my taxes, even though I'd much rather be outside doing customer searching or mowing on these beautiful days. Perhaps with a little coordination and organization I can do both. I know many of you are working at inside jobs during these pretty days, so I have no room to complain about having to do inside work myself. :)

Top Ten in Sales for C6  (Hurrah for more than 10 with sales over $100!)

 1. Susanne Walters
 2. Rene Parker   PC
 3. Ruby Nunnery
 4. Maria Loza
 5. Gladys Faulk
 6. Brenda Taylor
 7. Carolyn King
 8. Steffanie Erdelt
 9. Claire Philadelphia
10. Benetta Staten

Two Cloud Climbers had Direct Delivery sales in C6: Rene Parker and Susanne Walters. For the year to date, Rene has $587 in DD sales (25% of her total YTD sales) and Susanne has $163 in DD sales (12% of her total YTD sales). My DD sales are increasing as well, with a total of $359.36 so far in March and $1,248 for the YTD. I'm pretty excited about this and I'm hoping to hear at our PC Tribute that I am once again #1 in DD sales for our district. There was no award for that accomplish last year, and probably won't be this year, but it was mentioned and I saw my name on the screen, so that felt pretty good. I see that there is a new incentive in place for DD orders from March 12 to the 19th:

There are still 5 days to earn your own bottle of Little Black Dress by building those eStore sales. I'm still $60 away from earning it, but I don't intend to miss out. This is a fragrance I plan to sell if I earn it, so it will be putting extra money in my pocket.

Congratulations to Franchesca Perez and Michelle Watkins for getting their first Avon order submitted and becoming official Avon Representatives and also official Cloud Climbers. I'm so happy to have you both on my team!!

I just took at look at the report showing entries to win the Mercedes-Benz or one of the other great prizes in the 130th Anniversary Sweepstakes for representatives. Several Cloud Climbers have already earned entries and there are still two campaigns to earn more. Rene Parker has 4 entries and the following people  have 2 entries each: Barbie Breen, Steffanie Erdelt, Gladys Faulk, Carolyn King, Maria Loza, Darren Mannahan, Ruby Nunnery, and Brenda Taylor. Susanne Walters has 1 entry. I would be so excited I'd turn a cartwheel (if I knew how), if one of my Cloud Climbers won that car.

From the District Recognition Boards I see that Rene Parker is #5 in Sales Increase for PC members and Lacey Harmon is #7 in Sales Increase for Non-PC members. Congratulations on staying in the top 10 for these categories, ladies!

Now I want to tell you a sad story. You know that I often tell you to make sure your customers know that they can get started with their own Avon businesses through you so that you get credit for recruiting them. I always try to practice what I preach by putting info on customer search brochures to let them know to contact me if they want to begin their businesses. However, I had removed the link in my email signature for awhile, so I wasn't promoting the opportunity with every email. As you can see, I have now put it back, because I recently lost out on a new customer becoming a recruit. She had asked me a question about whether ordering online or ordering through me was best, but she never said she had any interest in becoming a representative, although I had told her about having a team of representatives under me. About a week ago she sent me a text to say she had "signed up online" and would I please "add her to my team." What she had done was to see an Avon ad while surfing the internet, saw that she could save 40% on her orders by becoming a rep., signed up immediately, and then placed an order within 5 minutes of signing up. Now, you and I both know that is not what you usually do as a new rep., since you usually wait to get your kit and get some orders before placing an order at the scheduled time.
The rules allow for making a correction of that sort (getting someone put on your team who has signed up without giving a rep. code) within 5 days of signing up and it must be done before you place an order. She wants to be on my team, I want her to be on my team, being on my team would be of benefit to us both, but since she waited a week after signing up and placing an order to tell me about it, there was no way to add her to my team. :( :(  Now do you see why I say to always make sure your customers know you can sign them up? And by the way, you don't have to do anything but point them to your link to sign up and I will be their mentor. Your link is www.startavon.com and they must use your code - the part of your eStore URL that follows the / (for example, for me it would be smoore) - when they fill out the information to get started. As a leader of an Avon unit, I have a direct link that works too, and I think you also have one. With the direct link they would be able to sign up without even inputting your code. My direct link is at the very bottom of my signature here. Try typing what you see there with your own code at the beginning instead of "smoore" and see if it takes you to a link to learn about the business and get started. If it does, you can share that link with your customers, friends, neighbors, family, etc.

Have you registered for the Spring Rally at the Sheraton Hotel at the airport on March 22? I sure hope to see some of you there! It will not cost you anything and it will be a great opportunity to meet with some of your fellow reps, learn about what is coming up with Avon, get some goodies (there are always free goodies at these things), and meet me and Shana if you have not done so before. Please register on your home page at youravon.com so Shana can be prepared for the number of people who are coming. Also, please let me know if you are planning to come.

Whew! All done, and I think I'll go spend a few minutes in the yard and just see if the old lawn mower with start for me without having to charge the battery. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help you further your business.

Avon in the News

There have been some changes made in corporate Avon in recent months and I don't think I have mentioned them. Avon Representatives are kept fully informed about these changes. Rest assured that your Avon Lady (or Avon Man) is not going away. I hope to be proudly serving as a US Avon Representative for many years to come, Lord willing. The United States branch of Avon is now New Avon LLC and is privately held as mentioned in this notice we received from our VP of U.S. Sales today:

Dear Valued Avon Representative,

As some of you may have heard, Avon Products, Inc. (with operations in Europe, Asia and Latin America) issued a press release on March 14th detailing updates to the company’s transformation plans. It was especially important to me that I reach out to you to emphasize that the actions announced by Avon Products, Inc. do not impact your Avon business in the United States. (Please see the statement issued by New Avon LLC here).
Avon’s North American business was recently separated from Avon Products, Inc., and is now New Avon LLC – a privately held company that will be majority owned and managed by Cerberus Capital Management. In North America, we remain focused on developing long-term brand value. As we’ve shared with you, we’re investing in the business and taking bold, fast action to improve your experience and that of your customers. Cerberus Capital Management, L.P., has committed hundreds of millions of dollars because of its belief in Avon – which means a major commitment to your success.

We understand that it may be challenging to manage questions your customers may have about the headlines regarding Avon Products, Inc. The news issued by Avon Products, Inc., includes plans to relocate their headquarters to the UK, while maintaining a presence in Suffern and Rye, NY. Feel free to share with your customers that Avon Products, Inc. is the publicly traded company that has international operations. You can tell your customers with great confidence that the Avon they know and love will be here in the United States for generations to come.

Cerberus is 100% committed to investing in you, our Avon Representatives, the direct selling model and the Avon brand. We look forward to bringing you more updates in terms of how we are improving your experience. My reasons to believe are still strong, and I know Cerberus is the right partner to help us grow. This marks the beginning of a new and exciting era for Avon and for all of our Representatives. Thank you for your continued commitment to your Avon business.
Margaret Gramann
Vice President of U.S. Sales, New Avon LLC

The Avon business originated in the United States, and was contained within the U.S. for many years. Now we are once again a separate entity contained within the U.S. I guess you could say we are going back to our roots. :) If you would like to read more about the history of Avon, click here.

C7 Avon Customer Order Reminder

(This is the reminder I send to my customers each campaign a couple of days before I turn in my regular order.)

I'm starting off with a notice about something that I really need to remind you of every now and then, because I am always adding new customers. PLEASE, if you decide you want to begin an Avon business or if you know someone who might want to begin an Avon business, be sure to talk to me or go through the link at the very bottom of this email. I am not pushing you to become representatives, it is just that if you want to do so, I want you on my own Avon team. Just this past week a new customer that I have not even met yet (she ordered online) signed up to be a representative in order to get a discount on her products and a week later asked me to add her to my team. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way, so she is on her own without someone to mentor her to success because she did not get me to sign her up or use my link to sign herself up. It was very disappointing to both of us, but she just did not understand how the business works. :/

I will be turning in my next order on Tuesday evening, so let me hear from you anytime between now and then if you need to place an order. You can reply to this email, call me at 256-721-9400, text me at 256-479-4061, or send me a FB message if we are friends on FB. Here are some of the best deals I spotted this campaign:

  • Pg. 6/7, Anew Clinical Liner Eraser with Retinol Treatment and Line Eraser with Retinol Targeted Treatment are intro special of $24.99 each.
  • Pg. 13, Ultimate Volume Shampoo and Ultimate Volume Conditioner are $2.99 each. These are my top selling products in the Advance Techniques hair care line.
  • Pg. 23, Today, Tomorrow, Forever, and Amour are any 2 for $30. I love them all!
  • Pg. 29, Haiku Kyoto Flower Eau de Parfum Spray is LPE of $9.99. It's the perfect Spring fragrance reminiscent of a just-bloomed flower garden.
  • Pg. 35, A top selling men's fragrance, Perceive, is also LPE of $9.99.
  • Pg. 51, Big & False Lash Volume and Big & Daring Volume Mascaras are each $6.99. These are available in Brown Black as well, which is sometimes hard to find.
  • Pg. 52/53, Several other mascaras are any 2 for $7.99 - mix or match. Getting a mascara for less than $4 is a pretty good deal!
  • Pg. 63, Extra Lasting Liquid Foundation is LPE of $9.99.
  • Pg. 71, Clinical Absolute Even Multi-Tone Skin Corrector is $18.99.
  • Pg. 80, Anew Vitale Day Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 25 for the look of poreless perfection at only $16.99.
  • Pg. 82/83, Will you be traveling soon? Be sure to get mini Anew Cleansers for $2.99 each and mini Day & Night Creams for $5.99 each.
  • Pg. 160/161, Avon Kids products -- Body Wash & Bubble Bath - Shampoo & Conditioner - Super Stylin' Gel & Detangling Spray - Body Lotion -- each one is only $3.49. Perfect for those Easter baskets!!
  • Back Cover, Senses Hydrating Shower Gel for $1.99 each. Choose one you haven't tried before and it may become your new favorite.

I'm still trying to build online orders, so I'd be happy to have you share my personal eStore with your friends and family who do not have an Avon representative. In fact, if you do so and they let me know you gave them my eStore link when they place an order (or my brochure if you pass it along to them), I will give you a 10% discount on your next order.
My Add-On Special for this campaign will be the Moisture Therapy Mini Hand Creams on page 174. They are .99 each and I will let you add up to 4 of them to your order at .69 each. Thanks so much for your continued support of my business. I hope you have a great week and enjoy the beautiful spring weather. I understand it is supposed to get into the low 80s on Tuesday!

Best Start Up Incentive Ever!

My father-in-law passed away Sunday morning after struggling with Pulmonary Fibrosis for the past year, so I was out of town for a couple of days and have not been as active with my blog as usual. I'm playing catch up in other areas (like grading Bible Correspondence Courses and working on taxes and Avon deliveries to local customers) today so I only have time for a quick post.

I came across this image just now which gives the information about Avon's current offer for those starting their Avon business. Take a look and see what you think, and if you are ready to get started with your new business just click on the pic and join my great team of Avon Cloud Climbers.

C5 Avon Cloud Climbers Unit Newsletter

This is the eNewsletter I send to the team of representatives I mentor in this business. If you would like to become one of them, click here to see how. Contact me if you have any questions that are not answered at the link. You can also go to this blog page to learn more. I have almost 29 years of experience as a representative and I am always happy to give every detail you need to make an informed decision about whether Avon is the right business for you.

Greetings!

I think that the only part of having an Avon business which I really don't like is doing my taxes at the end of the year. Every year I think I will keep my records posted on the chart I use as the campaigns end and every year I fail to do so and end up having to do all the work at one time. Ah well, such is life and taxes must be done. If I fall behind on getting newsletters out for the next couple of campaigns, you can blame it on the fact that I must buckle down and get that chore behind me.
Bad News: We only had 19 orders turned in this campaign :( . Good News:  11 of those 19 orders were over $100. :)  I'm happy to report that we once again have a...

 7. Maria Loza

One Cloud Climber had a Direct Delivery order this campaign - Rene Parker. Don't forget about the goodies you can get for having $100 in DD orders in given time periods. Right now I am short of making the goal for $100 this week by about $26. If I don't see another order coming through as the day comes to a close on March 5, I will place an order myself. I have decided that I will do what I can to meet every DD challenge that Avon gives me. Can I challenge you to strive to meet those goals as well? Most of my orders are coming from people who live in an area I could deliver to but they prefer to order for direct delivery for various reasons. I have one new customer who thinks "it sounds easier to order online" so I told her to do whatever was best for herself. Also, I have Anew customers who have signed up for Avon's Auto-Replenish program to have their products shipped to themselves on a regular basis. They know they will get the best prices and free shipping when they do this. If you aren't familiar with Auto-Replenish, go to your eStore and click on the "Skin Care" heading and then scroll to the link about the program. Make sure any Anew or Anew Clinical customers you have know about it so they can choose that option if they prefer. I imagine there are times when someone starts using an Anew product and they run out before they order again and then they go to the store and buy something else to get them by. Then they want to use up that product before ordering their Anew again, and you have just lost money. If they are on Auto-Replenish they have the products coming right to their houses and they are more likely to keep that program going and never go outside of Avon for their skin care. It's definitely something you should think about. I wrote a blog post about Auto-Replenish that you can read here if you like. We were told it was a limited time offer, but it's been going strong for over a year now (in fact, even more options have been added) so obviously it is working for Avon and if it is working for Avon it can work for you!

Celebrating birthdays in March are Ramona Hyman (3/13), Michelle Watkins (3/21), and Barbie Breen (3/23). Avon Anniversaries are being celebrated by Tawana Frails (11 years), Teresa Jordan (2 years), and Cheryl Parker (4 years).

One of the Cloud Climbers just earned 100 extra Points to use in purchasing Avon goodies from the PRP Rewards Catalog because she is a President's Club Contender. Yay, Lacey Harmon! Will you be able to celebrate with us at the PC Tribute next year? You can if you keep working as hard as you have been!

That's it for now. Taxes are calling, an Avon order is arriving, and I must head out the door to help a friend/customer, who has a broken ankle, and do a few more book drops. Have a wonderful weekend and let me know if you need my help for anything.

Incentives! Incentives! Incentives!

How many of you need incentives to keep you motivated to do what needs to be done? I know that they help me.* Avon knows it as well, so they are always putting incentives before us to keep us on track. They offer incentives to customers as well, most of them in the form of Coupon Codes that change every few days. You can keep up with the current codes by clicking on the tab at the top of this blog, but the best way is to go to my eStore and register your email address so that you receive email notification when a new incentive is offered. Here's an example of the type of email you will receive:

www.youravon.com/smoore

The email will contain a clickable link to my eStore and will generally contain a coupon code (in this example the code is ACCESSORIZE) to use to take advantage of the advertised offer. That code must be entered as the customer is checking out to receive the free gift or discount in the offer. There are sometimes more codes available during the same time period, and the customer must choose the one best suited for their purchase. Some codes are for free Avon products, some are for discounts on total purchases, and some are for free shipping. There are two codes that have been available for quite awhile and will probably stay available for some time to come - WELCOME for a discount on a first order and THANKYOU20 for a discount on a second order. Those codes can only be used one time each.

Avon also has incentives for representatives in various categories:

  • Encouraging us to build our online eStore business,

  • Encouraging us to build our total sales, and

  • Encouraging us to add new representatives to the Avon family.

Those who take advantage of the incentives to share the Avon opportunity have the option of participating in the "Refer a Friend" program and just earning cash with each representative they recommend who is appointed successfully, or they can actively work to build a team of representatives (as I have done with the Cloud Climbers) that they mentor and receive the added benefit of earning from the sales of their team members.

Yes, incentives are great, and I am always excited to learn about the latest ones and make my plans for what I need to do to earn whatever is being offered. Sometimes I even order at my own eStore to take advantage of the offers there and to earn the incentive for online sales. I like getting free Avon products as much as my customers do!

*Of course, my greatest incentive to do right and stay right is the one that the Great I Am has given me - a place in His church and a home with Him. Daily I keep that incentive before me and strive to be sure that all that I do glorifies Him.
