Greetings, Ladies and Gentlemen!
It has been a rough week for me, technology wise, but I think I've gotten most of the issues straightened out now. The problem was that my email account was upgraded and the process kept my email lists intact, but made them unusable. It happened after I sent the Customer Reminder to you, but before I was able to get it to my own customers. I hope the fact that I could not get the reminder sent to all of them did not cost me too much money in lost sales. I've spent several days redoing my lists and have several more lists that still need to be done. In recreating this list of Cloud Climbers, I cleaned it up a bit and took out some names of CCs that are no longer selling while adding the names of one or two that I had somehow missed. I hope I have the list accurate now, but if you get this email twice, please let me know. So, I finally got ready to do the newsletter this Saturday morning and, low and behold, VIBE has stopped working and I can't get the info I need to do the report! Argh! Technology is great when it works, but when it doesn't.... I guess I'll start sorting my Avon order that came in last night and come back to this later.
Okay, VIBE is back up and running, so onward I go!

We currently have 81 active Cloud Climbers, but only 43 of those turned in orders for C23. I'm a bit surprised at that, because it means that a bunch of you did not even order brochures for C25, which is going to make it more difficult for you to make money during this Christmas selling season. If you want to get some of those brochures, you can place an order for brochures only and you will not have to pay shipping on those since they are a sales tool. You need to do it right away though, because we are in the middle of C24 now.
I want to thank the few of you who have started posting a few things on our Facebook page for the Cloud Climbers. I like to see feedback and input there! If you are not yet on the page, send a friend request to me at this link and I'll add you: https://www.facebook.com/sandra.l.moore. If you look on my page right now, you'll see my house as it looks right now in the cover photo.
We have added several new team members since my last newsletter: Mary Waters (Leesburg, AL), Arletha Thomas (Birmingham, AL), Sonya Johnson (Birmingham, AL), Maria Lopez (Savannah, TN), Jacqueline Dickson (Nashville, TN), Sandra Sides (Nauvoo, AL), Vallarie Smith (Fairview, TN), Rosanna Cassidy (Ashland City, TN), Wendy Reed (Kimberly, AL), and Ayanna Matson (Chelsea, AL). Ayanna is a first recruit for new Cloud Climber, Sonya Johnson, so Congratulations, Sonya, on getting your Avon team started! I also discovered I had overlooked a representative who joined Avon and our team in the middle of October, Lydia Lopez (Nashville, TN). I don't know how that one slipped by me, but it appears that the email I usually get from Avon to let me know I have a new team member did not reach me. I think I'd better set up a system to make sure that doesn't happen again, because I was not able to help Lydia during her first month as a representative.
I'm happy to be able to spotlight a representative this campaign, and I already have another one ready for the Spotlight next campaign, so thanks to my newer representatives who are sharing info about themselves and their plans. I'll be happy to Spotlight YOU in a future newsletter if you will give me a few tidbits to share. In the Spotlight this campaign is Arletha Thomas. Arletha joined Avon on October 25, so she is very new to business, and to selling in general. She is divorced and the mother of a 23 year old son. They moved to Birmingham 12 years ago so she could start a new career in the medical field as a surgical technologist. After working at UAB for 7 years, she took a break and started working in the same field at Brookwood in 2013, where she continues today. Due to some ongoing health problems, she is now waiting for disability and has begun her Avon business as a way to earn extra income.
Tip: The invoicing system we have available in our Web Office is great and saves a lot of time and effort, but occasionally there are mistakes. Just double check the prices shown before printing the invoices. For example, I had a customer order 4 pieces of jewelry and the prices shown were $19.99 for two of them and $16.99 for the other two. I knew that didn't seem right, so I checked the printed invoice that came with my order and found that they were really supposed to be $6.99 for two and $5.99 for the other two. I'm sure my customer would have been quite upset to see the higher charges on her invoice, and I would have been embarrassed by the mistake!
