Rewards for the past few campaigns: Congratulations to Cassandra YoungTammy Miller, and Annette Shepherd for meeting the qualifications to receive a rebate on their appointment kits! I also received a Qualifying Recruit Bonus thanks to the efforts of one of my new recruits who had a $150 first or second order and paid for it on time, and I believe that lovely team member would be Annette ShepherdIf I am reading my reports right (sometimes it is a little bit challenging to understand everything reported due to circumstances of various Representatives), we had one team member who earned a Qualifying Kickstart Recruit bonus but Avon was not able to pay it due to that Representative allowing their account to go Inactive/Delinquent. I sure do hate to see that happen to someone, because that's $50 that was earned due to the efforts of their recruit that they will not get. I believe this is the first time that has ever happened to a Cloud Climber, and I hope it is the last. 

Happy Birthday to two team members who celebrated birthdays in January - Yvonne Lassiter and Susan WatkinsHappy Avon Anniversary to several people: Donna Langford (1 year on 1/9), Hattie Bush (38 years on 1/11), Patsy Cloud (17 years on 1/13), Sophya Johnson (6 years on 1/19), and Kelly Fuller (1 year on 1/21). 

I want to welcome two new Cloud Climbers who have both let me know they are already working hard to build their businesses. In fact, I just listened to a message on my answering machine from Barbara telling me that she is "off to a pretty good start", and she definitely is! We are happy to have you on our team, Leslie Clendenonof Dunlap, TN, and Barbara Hambrick of LaFayette, Georgia. May you have many customers and great sales for as long as you desire! 

If there is a #BLAB Workshop in your area, I hope that you will attend. The workshop is free and you will get to network with other Avon Representatives while you learn new things. Kick Off the New Year with these Five Beauty Resolutions


I was on a bit of a hiatus from this blog during the holidays, but one of my resolutions for 2018 is to get at least one post written each week. I've been taking care of my skin well for the past 31 years I've been an Avon Lady, so it is second nature to me and there is no need for a resolution about that for me. If you are among those who have not been tending to your skin and makeup well, perhaps these resolutions can help you:

Do you have one shade of lipstick that you wear all the time? Some women do, while others of us mix and match shades to come up with the perfect one for what we are wearing or our mood of the day.  This is the area where I might need a little bit of improvement - not on the skin care items I use before bed, but on getting my full 8 hours each night.  Ah. The feet. Cloud Climbers Newsletter for Campaigns 24 thru 1 - It's about time!

(This is the newsletter I send to my team each campaign. This time of year I fall a little bit, okay a BIG bit, behind. We've been busy, busy, busy, and we would love to have you join us as we move into 2018.)



Greetings! 

Are y'all ready for this? Maybe I should write it in chapters. Ha! No, I won't make it that long but will include the basics and then do another "State of the Cloud Climbers" newsletter in just a few days with final numbers for 2017. I do apologize for not getting the newsletter out each campaign recently, but life and the holidays came along and you all know about that so nothing more need be said. I've definitely enjoyed the holidays, and now I'm struggling to get my focus back to doing "what's important now!" ðŸ˜Š

I was planning to set as my challenge goal for 2018 to have at least one team member in 10 different states, but when I looked at my stats I discovered that we already have at least one team member in 5 states. (We had team members in 3 other states -  Georgia, California, and Mississippi  - but they have gone inactive or inactive/delinquent in the past few weeks.) Setting a goal for 10 states is too low and I shall set it for the BHG (Big Hairy Goal) of 15. Can we do it? Yes, we can!! Here are the states and the number of active Cloud Climbers in each one as of today: Alabama - 77, Tennessee - 10, Colorado - 2, Virginia - 1, and Wisconsin - 1. Now I must brainstorm on ways to reach out to my acquaintances in other states and bring them into the business, and/or make new friends in other states. I will post this BHG on my desk to remind me all year, along with my other BHG of making it back to Rose Circle again in 2018, and making it to Bronze Leader in 2018. What are your BHGs? Please share them so I can post them on my desk and encourage you along the way.

There were quite a few birthdays in December, so a belated Happy Birthday to: Judy Strawn, Gladys Faulk, Tawana Frails, Kelli Violet, Holly Dearman, Veronica Boyd, Lois Johnson, and Lorri Johnson. Celebrating Avon Anniversaries during the month were: Suheidy Colon - 5 years on 12/9, Dean White - 24 years on 12/9, Cynthia Blake - 9 years on 12/18, and Lisa Anderson - 1 year on 12/28. 

In the Spotlight is Stephanie Johnson, and here is what Stephanie has to share with us about her life: "I am a wife of 19 years to my high school sweetheart. We have 2 girls ages 16 and 9. I am a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in Huntsville Hospital's Neonatal ICU. I have been there for 17 years. I also sub for nurses in the Madison County School System. I started in AVON at 18 and have sold off and on since. I look forward to getting familiar with all of the changes and selling my favorite make-up products again." Stephanie, you have a challenging full time job that I am sure is very rewarding and appreciated.
