It's a wet, wet, night here in north Alabama as I begin to finally get this newsletter written. I think that I will just keep it short so that I can get it out tonight. 😊

Rene Parker PC received 175 Points for Sales Increase. Great work, Rene!
The following people earned their My Why Lockets: Brenda Taylor, Phyllis Smith, Darren Mannahan, Donna Langford, Cynthia Blake, Amy Layne, Margo Prytz, Leslie Clendenon, and Hattie Bush. Congratulations to all these hard workers! I want to see some pictures of the winners wearing their lockets. Anybody willing to share? Hope so!
I was thrilled to see that we made our team goal of $8K in C22, so thanks to ALL of you who placed orders, whether big or small. We had 93 Cloud Climbers and 50 of those placed orders, so that equals 53% order activity. That's pretty good, actually, as far as teams go.
We added one new team member since the last newsletter: Jennifer Webb of Iuka, Mississippi. We are so glad to have you on our team, Jennifer! Also, I want to welcome back six team members who have recently reactivated their accounts: Judy Ashworth, Tana Cook, Virginia Curtis, Tawana Frails, Kelly Fuller, and Julie Thomas.
Did you watch the webinar on Online Fundraising tonight? I did and I'm pretty excited about this opportunity. I hope that some of you are already thinking of ways to offer it to others. The presenter did an excellent job of explaining how it will work and she also said there will be a course on Avon U very soon. I'm planning to try a fundraiser for the FHU Associates Huntsville Chapter that I am the secretary for before Christmas and see if I can get enough response to see how the program works in practice, now that I know how it works in theory. I'll report back to you on the results when it is finished.
Some of you qualify for the Build the Love incentive, so is anyone working to earn their iPad? It's quite a challenging goal, but it's a nice perk! How about the Los Cabos trip incentive? Remember that you can earn early bird points during the remainder of 2018 by recruiting team members. Even if you don't earn the trip, there are some great prizes to earn along the way. Did you see the FB Live video of those on the Avon USA Representatives page? Nice!
It's still raining. I love the sound of it, and wouldn't mind if it rained all day tomorrow too, except we have that Fall Festival on Saturday and it's going to be pretty soggy if the rain doesn't let up soon! If you are in the Madison, Alabama, area on Saturday, please come by the Madison church of Christ and enjoy some family friendly fun on the front lawn from 10:00 until 2:00. Look for me under the bright pink canopy and I'll have something special to give you.
It has been a busy couple of weeks, which included the purchase of a "newer" Avonmobile! I had the money saved up for my next delivery vehicle and knew I wanted a red SUV, but that was as far as I had gotten. When my 2005 Santa Fe Avonmobile had to go in the shop and the shop owner recommended that I not put much more money into it, (saying 170,000 miles was a good long life for a Hyundai), I decided it was time to go ahead and take the plunge. That is done now, and I hope this 2018 Serrano Red Santa Fe will last me for many years to come, just as my old Avonmobiles did. This is the 4th one I've had since I began my business, so each has been with me about 10 years. Maybe this one will carry me until I am ready to retire from my business, if that day ever comes. 😊

There are many great items for Christmas in the C23 brochure, and many more coming in C24, C25, and C26. Did you know that some people open Avon accounts just to save money on Christmas shopping? Some of them let their businesses go after the holidays and some have so much fun that they decide to keep them going. If you want to learn more, go here. If you want to get started now, go here. And if you have any questions at all, send me a message!
My plan for today was to be out delivering Avon orders, but life intervened in the form of vehicle issues requiring my Avonmobile to go into the shop last night. When your brakes start goofing up, you don't mess around! I love the shop we use, but they have a lot of customers so I'm afraid they may be holding it hostage for a few days. Ah well. Perhaps I will get caught up some of the stuff I need to do here at the house.
We didn't quite make our $8K goal this campaign, but that's okay because I have faith that we will make it most of the campaigns for the rest of the year. Some of you are doing really well, although one of you is not doing quite as well as I reported in my last newsletter. Y'all need to call me out when I make math errors like that! And if you didn't catch it, now you can go back and see if you can find it. There will be a clue in the Top Ten list below. 😉

Did you join Avon under Share the Love for $10? Or have you joined Avon since that time? Be sure to read about the new Build the Love incentive from Avon where you can earn a full-size iPad (I wish I could earn it!) by having $3,000 in personal and/or team sales from Campaign 23 to 26. It is a lofty goal, but the prize is certainly worth working for, especially if you are one of those who is currently trying to conduct all of your Avon business from a cell phone.
Don't forget that this is Breast Cancer Awareness month, so let's do what we can to honor those who have fought the fight and those who are still fighting, and be aware of our own breast health, too. We have at least two survivors on our team, Barbie Breen and Carolyn King, and there may be others I don't know about. Let me know if you are one of them.
Onward to other tasks I go! I believe I'll send out a recruiting email with the new incentive details next. Please let me know how I can help you build your own Avon business.
Avon Bronze Ambassador
*If you are wondering how that is possible, let me explain. When Avon decided it would be best for all Representatives to be on teams with Mentors, those who were not on teams and not working with Leadership were "nested" with those who had teams. We had to accomplish certain goals in order to earn those nested Representatives, and I accomplished my goals!
