C20 & C21 Cloud Climbers Unit Newsletter

(This is the newsletter I prepare for my team each campaign so they can see how we are doing.)

I may not have mentioned it before, but in addition to my Avon business I dabble in a business with an essential oil company. I don't have much time to devote to it, but I use the oils a lot. Just now I have put some "Clarity" on, because my concentration seems a bit off. I hope it helps and I'll be able to get this newsletter done and get some Pinterest posting done, because I'm way behind on that. Speaking of my need for clarity, I was almost finished with this newsletter for C22 when I discovered I had never done a newsletter for C21. I couldn't believe it, but I've searched high and low in my email system and looked for a blog post on it, and it simply does not exist, so obviously I never wrote it. I'm so sorry for not getting that done. I knew it was a busy month, but I thought for sure I was keeping up with my tasks. You folks will have to hold me more accountable and ask where the newsletter is when you don't get one!
I'm wondering if any of you are having lower orders for Campaign 23, because my totals are way low. Anyone care to comment? I'm just curious, because it seems a bit strange for my orders to be low at this time of year, but perhaps they will come pouring in before I turn in my order tonight. I'm sure next campaign will be better, since Christmas items are introduced in it. Let me know if you have a particularly good order this time.
.....I just checked my VIBE reports and I see that several of you are having really good orders for C23, so I'm glad everyone is  not in a slump!

Birthdays in October are: Carolyn King (10/8), Rebecca Rains (10/10), Kristi Strode (10/14), Kelly Whipple (10/25), Maria Loza (10/28) and Ashleigh Downey 10/29. With November almost here (can you believe October went so fast?!?), I'll go ahead and post the Birthdays and Anniversaries for that month. Celebrating Birthdays are: Starla Hamilton (11/4), April Moore (11/6), Cheryl Kelly (11/7) Cassandra Brown (11/23), Virginia Washington (11/25), Suheidy Colon (11/26), and Brenda Taylor (11/30). There were a lot of Cloud Climbers born in October and November!

Those celebrating their Avon Anniversaries in October are Lois Johnson (26 years on 10/8), Caroline McCullough (3 years on 10/15), Rebecca Rains (9 years on 10/16), Ramona Hyman (2 years on 10/17), Annie Watts (6 years on 10/22), Kelly Whipple (2 years on 10/22), and Barbie Breen (23 years on 10/27) Those for November are Callista Motter and Brenda Taylor, each celebrating 5 years on 11/4. I remember well driving to Athens to appoint Callista at her house and Brenda coming to my house later that day to get her business started. I believe it is the only time I have ever appointed in person two people in one day.

We added several New Team Members in C21 and C22, and they are Alison Britt, Jennifer Dodson, Jennifer Shearer, Olivia Miller, Audrey Rivers, Nicole Darby, Ashleigh Downey, and Lakeesha Acklin. Lakeesha was added by Rene Parker and is her second team member.

Be sure to read the eNewsletter that comes to you each week from Avon. There is a lot of important information in that newsletter, including the upcoming coupon codes to promote for your eStore and any late breaking news from Avon. You can also read about the success of one of your fellow representatives, and possibly get some tips from them that will help you build your own business.

We had a great time at our recent RepFest on the Road event at the Sheraton. I wish more of you had been able to attend. I took a selfie with Benetta Staten, who faithfully attends our event at the Sheraton every year!

Tips from the Past:

"I've established a referral bonus. Each time one of my Customers refers someone new to me, I give them a discount on their next order. I have definitely gotten more customers this way. Also, my customers tell me they feel appreciated, and as a result they tend to place bigger orders."

"Each campaign I create a simple newsletter for my Customers telling them about new products, sales, and tips. Along with the newsletter, I offer samples of products that are new or on sale."

"Avon business cards are great. I recommend handing them out everywhere you go. If you see a fishbowl drawing for a free lunch some place, drop your card in. If you enter a drawing at your local supermarket that requires you to fill out an entry form, make sure to drop a business card in that box too. If you are eating out, leave your business card on the table with the tip. When you send mail out, such as paying a bill, put a business card in the envelope too."

Take care, work hard, and have a great rest of the week!
