Cloud Climbers Newsletter for Campaign 26, 2019

Greetings!

I'm sure all of you are busy, busy, busy, so I will make this newsletter brief. We are still working on building our number of team orders for each campaign, with a goal of 60% activity. I didn't put a lot of thought into my goal, or I would have set it just a little lower, but 60% it is and will remain. ðŸ™‚ We've had 53% activity a couple of times recently, which is pretty good for a team of 81 Reps.*, but in C26 we only had 39% activity. ðŸ˜³ I sure hope we do better in C1!

Since Campaign 26 would normally end the cycle for the year, I thought I'd go ahead and post the Cycle to Date Top 10. Of course, this year Avon is extending our cycle for Award Sales to the last day of the year, which means that if you turn in your Campaign 2 order early, it will also count toward your goal if you are aiming for President's Club or Premier to lock in extra earnings for 2020.

In the past I contacted my team members who had past due accounts to remind them of the amounts past due. This would only be for those of you who are not required to pay for your orders when you place them, of course. I had not been doing that for quite some time, but after a group call with Dee Power last night, I realized that I was doing you a disservice by not sending that reminder, since some of the past dues have likely just forgotten to pay their bill and didn't realize it was past due. I don't like to see any of you get late fees added to your accounts, so I'm going to start texting or emailing reminders again and I sent out a few of them this morning.

Campaign 1 Has Begun!

This Avon year is a bit unusual, because Campaign 1 will finish before the new year begins. In fact, I'll be turning in my Campaign 2 order before the new year begins! Campaign 1 does not introduce very many new products, but has a lot of great gift ideas that will arrive in time for Christmas if you don't delay in ordering. My Newsletter for My Avon Team for Campaign 24

Greetings!

Let's start with the special notification and get that out of the way in case some of you stop reading after the first paragraph. If you are in our Facebook group for the team, you may have already seen the video that I did about this yesterday. Dee Power, my coach and the coach for many of you as well, has challenged a few of us in Leadership to increase our order count for the next four campaigns. It's a challenge that several other coaches in the southeast region are also participating in, because the west region is far surpassing the southeast region in order count right now and that just will not do! Our team is actually doing the best for Dee's challenge participants, since we had 53% activity in Campaign 24 with 41 out of 76 Cloud Climbers placing orders. Keep up the good work, because our challenge goal for Campaign 25 is 60% activity! In order to encourage those who have not been placing orders regularly to get orders turned in this campaign, I'll be reaching out to you a couple of extra times in each campaign to let you know how we are doing. I will also be contacting those who have not yet placed orders to encourage them to do so. What's in this for you? Well, first of all, the satisfaction of knowing you helped our team make its goal. Second, the money that you will earn by encouraging your customers to place orders! And third, if we make our goal of 60% activity in Campaign 25, I'll put the names of all who placed orders into a drawing for some cold, hard, cash!! You see, when we make our $8 goal, like we did in Campaign 24, I have extra money to give away.

Be sure to make use of the customer reminder that I sent you earlier this week to encourage your customers to place orders. We all need reminders quite often, and your customers do as well. There have been many times that I've had customers tell me "I just let the date slip by me", even with reminders and I tell them to tell me what they need even if the date has slipped by and I'll get it. Sometimes I use my online store to order right away and sometimes they are willing to wait on the next order. Be sure to tell them in your reminder (whether it is email, phone, text, Messenger, or in person) that we can only go back one campaign for back orders now so they will realize the importance of getting their orders in on time. Consistent contact, is the key to getting those orders!

It's Here! The Biggest Book of the Year!!

Avon's biggest brochure of the year has arrived! Most of our Christmas offerings are in this brochure, so don't delay in ordering as some items may sell out early. You have two choices for shopping - either for my delivery or for direct delivery from Avon. Even if you plan to order for my delivery, you will want to go to my online store and click on the big red bow to see some special offers, including a sweepstakes you can enter. There will be 100 winners, and I would love for YOU to be one of them!
  • Pg. 9, Surprise! Avon put The A Box in the front of the brochure this campaign in addition to on the back cover. This one is all about Classic Glam with 4 full size products (total value is $40) for only $10 with your $40 purchase. Take a look at the box cover, because it features a gift set Avon sold many years ago. 
  • Pg. 11, The Limited Edition Iconic Avon Lipsticks are back again this year with all new shades and packaging. So gorgeous and only $9 each! Don't miss the vintage 1967 ad featured on the opposite page, because some of you may have seen the items featured there in your youth. I recall very well the Topaz sachet jar just to the left of center at the bottom of the picture, because my mama had one. The travel size fragrance to the right of it looks very familiar too, and I believe it had a roll-on type top. 
  • Pg. 21, Woo hoo! The 5-piece sets of Holiday Hand Creams and Lip Balms have arrived. The items can be purchased individually, but you get the best deal when you purchase the sets for $8 each. Great for stocking stuffers, teacher gifts, to hand out little goodies to your "besties" or your co-workers, or for holiday gathering hostess gifts. My personal way of using these is to put a bunch of them in cute baskets and take them to my family Christmas gatherings for everyone to pass around and grab one or two. Even some of the guys pick lip balms! 
  • Pgs. 22/23, These Skin So Soft sets feature fragrances (Winter Lavender or Wintersoft) only available at this time of year. Each $15 set contains Body Wash, Hand Cream, and Body Butter, and they make lovely hostess gifts or gifts for special friends. Of course, you can always treat yourself, too!
  • Pg. 24, Limited Edition Dopp Kits for the men in your life in two classic best selling scents - Black Suede and Wild Country - for only $22 each. These good sized bags will hold the three products included plus a whole lot more essentials for men. 
  • Pg. 26, Have you seen those new Silicone rings that are appearing on fingers across the country right now? I just became aware of them recently and I see that we have a black one for men right now. The price is much better than some prices I've seen - only $9.99 - and it is available in 5 sizes. These rings are great for men who lead a very active lifestyle or work with their hands in ways that could damage metal rings.

  • Pg. 179, Speaking of perfect hostess gifts, Avon's Veilment Natural Spa Collection has three beautiful variations - Black Rose, Dead Sea Salt, and Himalaya Pink Salt. Any one of them would add a touch of beauty to the bathroom decor and the large pump bottles are only $12 each. I've been using Black Rose and can verify that a little goes a long way, so these bottles will last awhile.

Cloud Climbers Newsletter for Campaign 23, 2019

Greetings!

I''m getting the Campaign 22 Newsletter out before the end of Campaign 23. Yay, me!!! Ha! Life and obligations have slowed down just a little bit, so I've just about got my business obligations all back on schedule. I'm enjoying fall, have dedicated myself to eating less sugar and getting more exercise (I actually charged up my Fitbit and I'm wearing it) and now that I've told you that about the less sugar and more exercise, you can be my accountability partners and just bug me now and then to say "Are you still on track?" Maybe by Thanksgiving I will have finally lost these few extra pounds that I carry in my midsection and be able to look decent in the clothes hanging in my closet that I avoid wearing now. I was listening to a Prager U Candice Owens interview yesterday and one thing that was said really stuck with me because it is so true. "Your life is your fault." We all need to take responsibility for our own lives and do the hard things that need to be done to get them where they need to be. That quote is true for our businesses, too. We all have different circumstances, but what we do with our circumstances is our responsibility/fault. Speaking of which, please read what Lydia Riley (https://www.facebook.com/lydia.riley.3517563) wrote yesterday about her Avon story. She has done some pretty amazing things in the past 19 years because of Avon, and you don't have to be at rock bottom, like she was, in order to build big. You just have to take responsibility (if building big is what you want and need) and do the hard things to get you where you want to be.

There are currently three Cloud Climbers who have team members, and they are: Leslie Clendenon with three team members, Rene Parker with one team member, and Margo Prytz with three team members. Our newest addition is a recruit of Margo's, and we welcome Andrea Gholar of Justice, IL, to the Cloud Climbers!

When I sent out the Customer Reminder for C23, I said that anyone who told me "I used the email, so put me in the drawing" would go into a drawing for a surprise from me. I was hoping to hear from at least a few of you, and I did get one "Thank you", but no one said they used the information in the email, so nobody went in the drawing. I sure hope that doesn't mean that nobody even reads my emails. ðŸ˜­ The campaign is not over yet, so maybe I'll still hear from someone yet and get to give something away. 

I'm going to drink an Espira Plant Power Protein shake and get back outside and enjoy some of this beautiful weather. I've only got 3,616 steps in so far, so I need to join my daughter in what she calls a "joggerwalkie". Have a great evening!
