Cloud Climbers Newsletter for Campaign 13, 2019

Greetings!

I'm packing this morning to leave town on my annual stateside mission trip, (this year we are off to Ferguson, Missouri) but I realized I had not gotten the C13 Newsletter done, so I'm allotting myself just a few minutes for this. If I have any typos, please forgive me. ðŸ™‚

Top Ten in Sales for Campaign 13

 1. Sandra Moore RC   $1,223
 2. Leslie Clendenon PC   $494
 3. Gladys Faulk   $367
 4. Kelli Violet   $322
 5. Amy Budisalich   $321    (1st Campaign and look at you in the Top Ten already!)
 6. Regina Smith   $313
 7. Deanna Buswell   $235
 8. Rene Parker PC   $232
 9. Sharon Tibbs   $230
10. Margo Prytz   $217

We are half way through the selling cycle and Leslie Clendenon and Rene Parker are already over half way to President's Club for the year, so congratulations to both of them for keeping their businesses in good shape! I know that once you make PC you never want to fall out of it because the 40% guaranteed earnings on beauty products gives you a great incentive to stay. Margo Prytz is fast approaching the half way point, so I feel certain that she will make PC this year as well.

In the last newsletter I asked Anna Kinsaul for tips about how she got customers to order at her online store, because she had over $400 in direct delivery sales in Campaign 11. She explained that she lives in a large subdivision with probably 1500 residents or more and they have a Facebook group for their neighborhood. Most of the people in the subdivision range in age from their late 20s to their early 40s and there are many children. She had simply posted once in the FB group that she was an Avon Representative and asked if anyone wanted Bug Guard and "the orders flooded in". Because she can do so, she places orders for them at her own online store whenever she has enough for a $40 order (so that she does not pay shipping), since most of them have smaller than $40 orders. Then she either delivers the orders to them or they come by her house to pick them up. So....the moral is that if YOU have a place to post about Bug Guard, do it! And if you want to order at your online store rather than through the usual way, do that too! Just remember that you cannot purchase brochures, samples, demos, etc. in that way and you will pay up front for orders and have your earnings on them deposited to your bank account.

We've got someone to Spotlight this campaign, as our newest Cloud Climber, Amy Budisalich, shared some information about herself with me. She has been married to Derek for almost 22 years and they have two daughters: Riley 917) and Peyton (13). The moved from Tucson to Priceville in 2013 but she is originally from Illinois, which is where she grew up and where she met Derek. Amy has been an RN since 2008 and has been working at Sav-a-Life Pregnancy Resource Center for the past 2 years doing ultrasounds. She said she loves her job, and that is always a good thing! She states, "I've been back and forth about becoming a rep for a few years now. I've loved and used Avon for a long time. I'm excited about this new adventure and others around me are excited for me! I made a business page on Facebook, and I've gotten some good feedback there. My sister in IL has placed 2 orders already, and the ladies I work with are anxiously awaiting the arrival of my books. They have lists of items they want to order." As you can see from Amy making the Top Ten in her first campaign, she is off to a great start with Avon! Amy, I pray that your success will continue.

FYI: Please be sure to read the information in the Beauty Buzz each week. Many Reps are having trouble submitting their orders because of the new feature that requires you to select whether to use your credit with Avon (some of you have that and some do not), when you pay your bill and you must do it before you can submit the order. If you did not read that in the BB, go to your home page, scroll down to the BB, choose "View All" at the bottom of that section, and then click on "Jun 3-9" to view last weeks articles. Also, some Reps are having issues with a pop-up about accepting the Terms and Conditions coming up and not seeing a way to accept them. I'm hoping all of that has been worked out or will be worked out when system maintenance is done this weekend. I haven't heard from any of you about the issue, I've just seen it talked about in some FB groups, so perhaps the Cloud Climbers have all managed to climb that cloud with no problem. We are a smart team, after all. ðŸ˜Š

That's all I have time for right now, so I'll report more on how my June BHAG is going in the next newsletter, but so far it is going pretty good. Also, I'm pretty sure there is a drawing I'm supposed to be doing for the last Challenge, but that will have to wait as well. May God bless each and every one of you. I'm praying for you and your business each day.
