Product Highlights for Campaign 13, 2020

Late Greetings!

Earlier today I was thinking there seemed to be something I was forgetting or getting behind on Avon wise and while I was out delivering orders it came to me! Campaign 13 has begun online and I haven't gotten the product highlights done yet.

Here are some of the NEW products best buys I spotted in this brochure:
  • Pgs. 5-7, NEW Anew Vitamin C Brightening Eye Cream ($18.99) and Vitamin C Illuminating Priming Moisturizer ($18.99) join the Vitamin C lineup. I love the pump container that keeps the product from contamination and keeps the active ingredient active. AND you get a free Vitamin C Warming Peel (it feels fantastic!) with any purchase from these pages.
  • Pg. 13, belif true cream aqua bomb and true cream moisturizing bomb are each $38. If great moisture and natural ingredients appeal to you, these moisturizers definitely will!
  • Pg. 24, NEW Tattoo Station Proof Brow Pencil softly defines and fills in brows for an all-day, long-lasting, natural look. It's available in 6 shades for $7 and has a built in groomer brush on the opposite end.
  • Pg. 36, NEW Waterproof Lip & Eye Makeup Remover will gently yet powerfully remove even the most stubborn waterproof makeup in just one swipe. Perfect for those who switch to waterproof eye makeup in the summer and only $8!
  • Pg. 38, After using the new makeup remover on pg. 36, use the Rice Water Bright Foaming Cleanser ($11) for the rest of your face. You will be amazed by the great cleansing you get with just a tiny bit of the product.
  • Pg. 57, Keeping late hours these days? Need to look refreshed in the morning anyway? If so, Vitale is the product line for you. It's also the line for you if you want to decrease the appearance of large pores. Choose from four products for day and night use at only $22.99 each.
  • Pg. 89, Cashmere Complexion Longwear Foundation ($21.99) has a shade that will match your skin tone no matter what it might be. The full coverage makeup has a soft-focus matte finish that visibly blurs pores and fine linesIdeal for all skin types, vegan, and contains antioxidant botanical extracts
  • Pg. 97, Far Away Amalfi is a kiss of the Italian coast for summer and only $15.99. (Scent spot on the brochure page.)
This brochure is 215 pages long, so be sure to flip all the way through to make certain you don't miss anything. For example: there are many new fashion and jewelry items in the back, as well as some aromatic luxury candles. You'll need to get on the Wait List for the candles, as they are already out of stock! It's no wonder, with names like Bonfire, Mosaic, Cabana, Sandstone, and Meadow that contain enhanced fine fragrances crafted by master perfumers in a soy blend wax for a cleaner burn.

Make Our Mission Your Mission - FREE!

I don't know if I have written a blog post about the FREE signup opportunity that Avon has offered for the past few months. They have not said anything about extending the opportunity, so it is scheduled to end on May 26. Even thought the economy is opening up and people can once again get out to shop in their favorite stores, many are still choosing to stay home as much as possible. I've been getting a lot of new online customers and sales, so I'm experiencing this first hand. With the free option you do not receive brochures that need to be delivered to your friends and family members. Instead, you are given a link to your personal web store so they can shop online.* Of course, you still have the option to order brochures to distribute if you so choose. Go ahead and go to my online store to see what you have been missing (including the amazing new Digital Brochure that was just launched!) and what you could be offering, then click the words "Become a Representative" in the upper left part of the screen to start your business today! **

Cloud Climbers Newsletter for Campaign 10, 2020

Greetings, everyone!

I hope you all are doing fine right now. If you aren't and you need special prayers for your own situation or for the situation of others dear to you, please let me know so I can add those needs to my prayer list. We are doing fine here, and doing about the same things as I reported in my last newsletter and/or the customer reminder. I am still working on masks and I'm about to offer them to my local customers as a free gift now that we are getting caught up on masks for our church family.

So, who has viewed the webinar/training for the new digital catalog and tools to use with our online stores? I must confess that I have fallen behind on the abundance of available training for several reasons, but I do plan to learn about it all soon and I hope you do as well. I don't know if I will be using many of the promotions yet, because I need to decide whether the return is worth the investment and I can't do that until I have done the training and research. I've picked up a few new online customers recently just because I keep a presence on various social media outlets and on Google My Business and Bing for Business and therefore I show up in searches when people in the area are looking for a Rep. You must keep putting yourself out there if you want to get noticed.

Every now and then I have occasion to meet one of the Cloud Climbers that I have never met. A couple of weeks ago when I was working to try to get email addresses set up for the three CCs that did not have them I went to the Nature's Apothecary store in Huntsville and met Gladys Faulk for the first time. Gladys has been an Avon Rep for 784 campaigns (she just celebrated her 30th Avon Anniversary) and has never turned in an order using the internet. I can't imagine trying to turn in Premier level sales orders over the phone, but she manages. She's not the only CC doing that, either. I'm just so glad that Avon is still allowing that option and I hope they continue to do so. I also hope that I get to meet more of you in the future!

As of today, if nothing changes to say we can't do it, Eli's Block Party Car Show and Cruise In will take place on the parking lot of the Bethel church of Christ in Athens on May 16. This is an event I've had a booth at for several years, and will be the first event I've participated in for several months. I hope that we are able to have the event as planned, as this is a fundraiser for the battle against childhood cancer. Normally I would invite you to come sit with me at my booth if you want to experience what it is like to run a booth at an event, but since we are social distancing as much as possible, I suppose I should not have an extra person in the space behind the booth. I do want to invite those of you who live in the area to come out and support the event! Here is the link for more info: https://www.facebook.com/events/2168195986620362/

Those who celebrated birthdays in April and those who have birthdays in May include:
  • Hattie Bush, April 1
  • Anna Kinsaul, April 2
  • Nicole Darby, April 3
  • April Martin, May 2
  • Ashley Baisden, May 3
  • Margaret McCrary, May 5
  • Donna Langford, May 6

  • Yvonne Lassiter, 19 years on May 19
  • Darren Mannahan, 8 years on May 19
  • Danielle Reneau, 3 years on May 27
  • Amy Budisalich, 1 year on May 28
  • Autumn Lange, 6 years on May 28
  • Kathy McAlpin, 4 years on May 31
We haven't added any new Cloud Climbers since the last newsletter, but I know of one team member who should be increasing our number by one very soon. Remember, unless Avon extends the program again, FREE signups end at the end of Campaign 12, which means on May 26. Please be sure to let your prospects know that time is running out if they want to begin a business at no cost!

Have a great weekend, and keep looking up! Remember, "Consistent Activity = Consistent Income".

Cloud Climbers Newsletter for Campaigns 5 through 9

I've been busy mask making and doing some extra elderly parent care and have fallen behind in my blog posts. This is my newsletter for my team that was sent out a few weeks ago.

I do hope that all of you are enjoying good health right now. Since I haven't heard any differently, I'll assume that none of you have CV19 and I hope that none of those you love are suffering from it either. Let me know if I am wrong so I can add you or them to my prayer list. Also, let me know if you are finding ways to keep your business going during the crisis or if you are just taking it easy for now. I've been working out arrangements with customers and continuing to get orders, although not as many as usual, because some of my customers definitely consider their Avon products to be essential. Because of that reason, I have decided to do some limited deliveries to homes without going inside of them. In most cases I will have the customer pay me in advance or leave a check somewhere on their porch for me to pick up and I will just leave the order outside the door. Other customers are giving me their credit card info and I am ordering for direct shipment to their house, while others are doing their own ordering at my online store.

You can definitely tell from this Top Ten list for C9 that most of us are hurting for sales right now, and I know it is because of reasons relating to what's going on in the country. I do hope that you won't grow discouraged, though, and let your business completely slip away from you. We have added several new team members since I last sent out a Newsletter and that is due to the free signup opportunity continuing. I contacted my long email list of potential recruits and have had several of those decide to open their businesses at no cost. More about all of them can be read below.

 8. Hattie Bush   $146
 9. Ashleigh Downey   $136
10. Rosanna Cassidy   $126

Since I fell behind in producing the Newsletter for awhile, I'm going to go ahead and post the Top Ten in Sales for the campaigns that I missed so all of those who worked hard on getting those orders in previous campaigns will get the recognition they deserve. I knew it had been awhile since I had written a newsletter, and when I checked my records I discovered I had not sent one since my daddy's fall in February. That's a pretty big lapse, for which I do apologize, so here are the Top Ten for those campaigns, beginning with the first one I missed.

Top Ten in Sales for Campaign 8

 1. Sandra Moore  HS   $1,128

 4. Gladys Faulk  Pr   $248
 5. Brittney Monti   $115
 6. Darren Mannahan   $101
 7. Kim Mitchell   $98
 8. Kathy McAlpin   $96
 9. Kelli Violet   $90
10. Judy Strawn   $78

Campaign 7 was the first campaign in a long time where someone with sales under $150 made it into the Top Ten, and there were 5 people with sales under $150 included. I wonder how long it will be before we are able to get back to higher sales? My sales suffered in C6 and C7 due to my not being able to get as many brochures out because of my parents' needs. What is keeping my sales higher in some campaigns is direct delivery orders, as those continue to go pretty well. Promote, promote, promote! your online store. Call attention in those promotions to the basic needs such as toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner, deodorant, body wash and lotion, etc. Remind customers and potential customers that they can purchase those without leaving the house. I know some of you are doing that, because I see your posts on social media. Leslie Clendenon and Linda Wardell are particularly consistent about posting on their FB pages and FB stories. Let me know if you are doing the same so I can take a look. I mean, could there be a better time to try to build your online sales? :)

New to the Cloud Climbers Team
  • Mary Jackson of Chicago, IL - added by Margo Prytz
  • April Martin of Cullman, AL
  • Teresa Minley of Birmingham, AL
  • Erin Nunn of Birmingham, AL

  • Sandra Morris of Decherd, TN
  • Dezaree Moseley of Chattanooga, TN
All of the above chose the free option for signing up, and that option remains available through Campaign 12. All of them are still Pending without a first order except for Tammy Coker, who had one online order. I do hope that if your name is on this list you will realize that, even though you have not invested money in beginning your business, you must invest some time and effort to become successful in your business. Don't let this free opportunity be a worthless opportunity. Customers won't find you; you must find them and let them know you are ready to serve them!

I hope that you are taking advantage of the abundance of online training that Avon is producing for us right now. You can learn about it in the Beauty Buzz you receive by email each Monday or by going to your home page at youravon.com and scrolling down. You can also view the videos on the Avon USA Representatives Facebook page or in Avon U Training after they are posted. Have any of you done a FB Live video, with or without makeup? I've done both, and you can see them on my FB business page. You'll see that I had a bit of fun with the one without makeup. If you need any tips on doing a Live video, let me know and I'll tell you what I have learned works well for me.

One last thing: Dee Power has asked if any of my team would like to do a Zoom meeting with her. It would only be Dee and Cloud Climbers and would be a casual meeting to talk and ask questions is my understanding. Let me know if you are interested and we will make that happen.

Have a blessed week, and keep up the good work!

Campaign 12 - Game Over, Bugs!

Outdoor season has arrived for those of us who prefer the great outdoors in warmer weather. With it's arrival come those pesky little outdoor creatures that try to mess up our fun. I'm happy that Avon keep Bug Guard in the brochure all year round now, but it's front page news in Campaign 12.
